London 2012 welcomes Thorpe
Thorpe House has been officially welcomed in to London 2012's Get Set network in recognition of our commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Values. This follows plans by the school to hold a special Olympics-themed project week next summer alongside a very special Sports Day next year. The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has awarded the school a plaque and certificate to acknowledge our involvement in the London 2012 education programme and, as part of the Get Set network, we will gain access to exclusive competitions and Games-related opportunities over the coming months.
