Year 6 Theatre Visit
After reading Goodnight Mr Tom as their class reading, Year 6 went to the Wycombe Swan on Wednesday to see the theatre production of the book by Michelle Magorian. The story tells the story of the relationship which develops between Willie Beech, a young boy, who is evacuated from London during the Second World War, and Tom Oakley, an elderly recluse, into whose care Willie is placed. The boys thought the acting was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, particularly the ice cream in the interval!
